4th Man Arrested In Connection With Car Park Killing

A 27 year old man (D) from southwest London is the fourth person arrested in connection with the shooting of 20 year old Darcy outside Wandsworth prison on 1st May. It is believed that Darcy was on his way to visit an inmate at the prison.

On Friday three men - (A- aged 19), (B- aged 22) and (C- aged 26) - were arrested on Friday, 1 May in connection with the murder, they have been bailed pending further enquiries.

Police were called at approximately 14:30hrs on Friday 1 May, to reports of a man having been shot on Heathfield Road, SW18. Two men wearing crash helmets were seen fleeing from the scene towards Alma Terrace.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and a 20-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination at St George's Mortuary, Tooting today, Saturday 2 May, gave the cause of death as multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.
