Police are concerned for his safety and his whereabouts
Police at Wandsworth are becoming increasingly concerned for the whereabouts and safety of Vado Mesquita aged 48yrs. He is described as being 5ft 7inches tall of slim build with short black curly hair.
48 year old Mr Mesquita, a Brazilian national, left his home address in SW18 on the afternoon of 7th May. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and carrying a red bag by a friend standing outside the Post Office in Lavender Hill, Battersea SW11 at 18:45hrs.
Mr Mesquita speaks very good english adn has lived in London for 17 years. His disappearance is described as out of character. He is an artist and was due to attend an exhibition involving his work at Battersea arts centre on 8th May, but he did not attend.
Mr Mesquita's mother has travelled from Brazil to see his exhibition and was staying with him. It is understood that he would not leave his mother for any period of time.
