Stabbing At Salesian College


Six youths held for the stabbing of a 16 year old whilst at school

Police were called on Thursday afternoon to reports of a male stabbed at Salesian College, Surrey Lane, Battersea.

Local officers, LAS and HEMS attended, and the 16 year old male - aged 16ys - was taken by HEMS to a London hospital suffering a number of stab wounds. His condition is described as stable.

It is believed the victim, who is a pupil at the college, was attacked by a number of youths who are not connected to the school.

Officers from Wandsworth CID are investigating.

Six males - aged between 13ys and 17ys - have been arrested in connection with the incident. They remain in custody at various South London police stations.
