Wandsworth's Parks Need Your Vote!

Mayor of London is giving grants of up to £400,000 to London's most needy parks

There is still time to vote in the Mayor of London’s £6million voting scheme to fund parks improvements across London. Voting closes on 30th January 2009.

King George’s Park, SW18 and Latchmere Recreation Ground, SW11 need as much support as possible to be in with a chance of winning £400,000 for improvements.

Anyone who lives or works in London can vote and on Friday 16th January and Saturday 17th January the Parks service will be outside Waitrose, in the Southside Shopping Centre, providing further information and the opportunity to vote there and then.

YOUR vote for a Wandsworth park could make all the  difference as to whether we receive funding to improve King George’s Park or Latchmere Recreation Ground. We are therefore asking you to consider voting for one of these two parks by popping along to Southside on 16th or 17th January or via the link below.

Thank you for your support.
