Thieves Steal Prosthetic Legs From Victoria Milligan

Speedboat accident survivor Victoria Milligan has had her prosthetic legs stolen during an evening out in Fulham.

Thieves broke into Mrs Milligan's car which was parked on Michael Road in sw6 on Sunday evening (November 26th). The Met Police say they believe two men on scooters smashed both the car's passenger-side windows and stole two bags from the backseat - one containing three prosthetic legs and the other containing a laptop.

Victoria discovered the theft when she returned to her car after an evening out in a nearby restaurant.

Inspector Darren Desa, of Hammersmith and Fulham borough, said, "This is a heinous crime where heartless thieves have stolen the victim's personal property, including her prosthetic legs. This is extremely distressing for the victim.

"I would also appeal to anyone who knows where the prosthtic legs are to do the right thing and hand them into police or inform police where they are. They are of no use to anyone but the victim."

Nick Milligan51-year-old Nick Milligan, a BSkyB senior exceutive, and his eight year old daughter were killed in May 2013 in a speedboat accident near Padstow in Cornwall.
