An illustrated talk from The Wandsworth Society

The Wandsworth Society’s monthly talk is on 8th November.
It starts at 7.45 for 8pm at West Side Church Hall, at the corner of Melody Road and Allfarthing Lane

‘Growing Up In Wartime Battersea’ is an illustrated talk by Carol Rahn. There will be local people’s vivid memories of bombing and evacuation - stories that would surprise today’s children of everyday life almost unrecognisable now.



Refreshments will be available.
The talk is free, all are welcome and the venue is wheelchair accessible.

The Wandsworth Society enables local people with common interests to get together and meet or keep in touch with new friends and neighbours.
