Police give detailed description of suspects
Police are appealing for information and witnesses to come forward after a man in his forties was assaulted in Wandsworth High Street.
Police were called to Wandsworth High Street, SW18 at 21.18 last night (Tuesday 6th May), following reports of an assault.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man in his forties suffering from head injuries.
He was taken by London Ambulance Service to a West London hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.
Police are keen to trace five suspects who were seen to flee the scene of the assault.
The first suspect is described as a black male of Somali heritage, aged 16, 5ft 6ins tall with curly black hair.
The second suspect is described as a black male of Somali heritage, aged 16, wearing a rain coat with a hood.
The third suspect is described as a black male of Somali heritage, aged 16.
The fourth suspect is described as a black female with a pony tail last seen wearing a grey tracksuit, aged 16.
The fifth suspect is described as a black female wearing bright coloured clothing, aged 16.
This incident is not believed to be gang-related.
No arrests have been made. Enquires are continuing by police in Wandsworth.
