Recognised for services to local government
Edward Lister, the former Leader of Wandsworth Council who spent 19 years in the post, has been awarded a Knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.
Sir Edward has joined Mayor Boris Johnson as his new Chief of Staff and Planning Deputy.
