Police release CCTV image after man indecently exposes himself on Waterloo-Earlsfield Train

British Transport Police (BTP) officers are appealing for information after a man indecently exposed himself on a train between Waterloo and Earlsfield.

Officers have also released CCTV images of a man they want to identify and talk to in connection with the incident, which took place on Tuesday 21st February.

Around 2.45pm, the 21-year-old victim, from New Malden, felt someone tap her seat from behind in a bid to get her attention
but when she turned around she noticed that a man had exposed himself and was touching himself indecently.

The man, who boarded the train at Waterloo, is thought to have left the service at Earlsfield.

The CCTV images have been circulated on police intelligence systems and to local Metropolitan Police Safer Neighbourhood teams but to no avail so far.

PC Mark Payne, the investigating officer, said: “This was an understandably upsetting experience for the victim and we’ll do all we can to catch the person responsible.

“It was difficult to identify a suspect from the initial CCTV footage we gathered but we’ve now obtained enhanced images and want the public’s help to identify this man.

“The images are very clear and I’m certain someone will recognise him. If you think you can name this man, or have any information that could assist our investigation, please get in touch.”
