Raising money for the Breast Cancer Care charity
Super sewer team wears pink hats with pride
In a change from the traditional utilitarian look, the team building London’s super sewer swapped their headgear for a pink number to raise money for Breast Cancer Care on Friday (October 12th).
More than 150 Members of the Tideway construction team in West London donned pink hard hats, expecting to raise at least £1,000 for the cause.
Sally Cox, Tideway’s Project Director for the western construction sites, said, “Breast Cancer affects both men and women at any age and this fantastic organisation could not provide the valuable services it does without the contributions made from fundraising events. The response from the team to support today has been tremendous with all our sites eager to take part.”
