As extensive roof repairs are carried out
Southfields Library will close temporarily next month while it undergoes extensive roof repairs.
The library will be closed on Friday October 10th and will reopen to the public on Tuesday October 28th.
During this period the library’s two large skylights will be replaced in a repair project costing £16,000. The works are necessary to prevent future water leaks.
During this time residents can use the alternative libraries in Wandsworth town centre, Putney and Roehampton.
Any items borrowed from Southfields ahead of the closure can be returned to any other Wandsworth library.
