PizzaExpress York Road is celebrating the launch of its new look restaurant in Wandsworth Town. Located in Old York Road, the restaurant has been totally transformed and includes new artwork paying tribute to the local Young’s Ram Brewery.

Each PizzaExpress restaurant is individually designed – often using well known places, people or historical events from the area. The Ram Brewery opened in Wandsworth in 1831. Horses and carts were used for deliveries until its closure in 2006, and these are featured in the artwork as well as illustrations of the brewery and the brewing process.

Manager, Nasim Malak, says, “We love our restaurant’s new look and have a friendly and enthusiastic team who are looking forward to welcoming everyone over a delicious pizza.”

PizzaExpress has been dishing up fresh, handmade pizza to Wandsworth since 1993.

The new look coincides with the introduction of new seasonal specials such as a macaroni and cheese style Pennette Formaggi, hot spiced beef Calzone Diavolo and Treacle Tart Cheesecake.

For younger pizza-lovers, PizzaExpress’ Piccolo menu includes ‘Create Your Own’ pizza, and starts at £3.95.
