Police renew appeal to trace 5-year-old and her mother
Local police are renewing their appeal for help to find a woman from Wandsworth who is missing with her young daughter.
Zirwa Javaid, 36, and five-year-old Nurjenna Javaid-Khan were last seen on Thursday 25th May in the Tooting area.
Zirwa (pictured below) is described as a medium built Asian woman approximately 5ft 6ins tall.
Five year old Nurjenna has dark hair.
It is believed that Zirwa may be wearing a hijab or burqa.
Officers are growing increasingly concerned for their welfare due to the lack of contact with family or friends.
Both are known to frequent the Tooting and Croydon area.
They have no known medical issues and are strongly believed to be in the Wandsworth area. They are not believed to have travelled abroad.
DC Ben Tily from Wandsworth CID said, "Zirwa and her young daughter have now been missing for nearly three weeks. We need to establish their welfare. If you have had contact with them or seen them anywhere please contact police."
If anyone has seen Zirwa or Nurjenna, they are asked to contact Wandsworth CID on 07920 205857 or via 101.
