Police appeal for witnesses
Wandsworth CID is appealing for information and witnesses following an assault on Garratt Lane at the junction with Aslett Street SW17, just after 11 pm, on Wednesday 2 nd July.
Two Asian males aged 62 and 20 were attacked and assaulted by masked males one of which had a hammer. Both received head/facial injuries and the younger is recovering in hospital.
Suspect descriptions are
Suspect 1:
Asian Male, F510-F600, broad/chubby build, wearing a bike mask, wearing a white hoody with writing on the front (possibly Reebok), dark trousers.
Armed with a small handled sledge hammer/club hammer
Suspect 2:
Asian, Male, F511-F601, skinny, wearing a bike mask, pink shirt, trousers and black shoes
Suspect 1 smashed the window of the victims Mercedes car.
