Police want to speak to two woman passing by who warned off attacker
An appeal has been launched to trace two women who were witnesses to a sexual assault in Battersea.
They saw another woman in her twenties being attacked on Wye Street and shouted at her assailant causing him to run off in the direction of York Road.
The attack took place at around 7.30pm on Thursday, 19 November outside a residential property.
Officers attended and took a statement from the victim who reported being grabbed by man unknown to her who touched her inappropriately.
She wasn’t injured and is being supported by specially trained officers.
Officers are keen to speak to the two women women as they may be able to provide vital information that can help with the investigation.
The suspect is described as a black male, aged in his late twenties and wearing a red hoodie with blue jeans and blue shoulder bag.
