Police seek witnesses to attack on teenage girl in May

Area of Wandsworth Park cordoned off

Detectives have issued a new appeal for information and witnesses to come forward concerning an alleged rape that took place in Wandsworth Park earlier this year.

A teenage girl says she was assaulted in the park at around 10.40pm on Friday, 15 May. She continues to be supported by specialist officers.

A cordon was set up around Prospect Quay as forensic officers went over the scene. A dog unit was also called to help with the investigation

Detectives would like to speak with anyone who was in the area of the park at the time and who may have seen or heard something suspicious.

Five men, all aged in their late teens, have been arrested by in connection Park. They have all been released under investigation.
