Police Launch Southfields Rape Investigation


Woman allegedly attacked on Replingham Road

Police officers are investigating an incident of alleged rape that took place in the early hours of Saturday morning (14th June) near Southfields tube station.

A woman in her thirties reported that she was attacked whilst making her way home along Replingham Road between 1am - 2am.

The incident is believed to have occurred near the Southfields Food and Wine store.

The investigation is being handle by the Met's Sapphire unit which specialises in cases of sexual violence. No arrests have been made at this point.
