Scooter Rider Killed in Wandsworth

Fatal collision at junction of Sutherland Grove and Granville Road

A 42 year old scooter rider was killed this morning (3rd December) in a traffic accident in Wandsworth.

The collision occurred at around 11.30am at the junction of Sutherland Grove and Granville Road, SW18.

Emergency services attended but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car stopped at the scene. She was not arrested.

Whilst officers believe they know who the deceased is, they await a formal identification.

Officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit (RDIU) at Hampton Traffic Garage are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of the collision.
