Burst Water Main In Buckhold Road Causes Serious Delays

The road will be closed for several days

A burst water main is causing serious delays around Wandsworth Town Centre.

Buckhold Road has been closed in both directions between Wandsworth High Street and Neville Gill Close while Thames Water repair the damage.



Traffic is being diverted northbound via Merton Road and Lebanon Road, which is causing congestion on West Hill. Traffic on West Hill eastbound is also slow with tailbacks to Tibbet's Corner

On East Hill there is congestion with tailbacks towards Windmill Road.

Transport for London are warning road users to expect delays until the repair work is finished.
