Two cars and a bus collide on Buckhold Road

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Buckhold road, SW18, which has left a man in a critical condition.

Officers were called at 16.28hrs on Saturday 22nd March, to reports of a collision between three vehicles - a VW Polo, a Ford Mondeo and a bus.

London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service also attended. Eight people were taken to hospital by ambulance.

Two 21-year-old men and a 20-year-old woman, all of whom were travelling in the Polo, remain in hospital. One of the men is in a critical condition while the other man and the woman have serious injuries but they are not believed to be life threatening.

Five other people have subsequently been discharged from hospital.

The bus, a route 156, was in service. Nobody on the bus was seriously injured.
