Murder Investigation Following Death Of Man In Wandsworth


Three men were stabbed on the Winstanley Estate

Three men were stabbed in Wandsworth last night (3 August). One man died at the scene and two were taken to a south London hospital with non life threatening injuries. Local police have now launched a murder enquiry.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to Shepard House on the Winstanley Estate at just after 6pm yesterday (3 August), following reports of a stabbing.

Officers attended and found a man in his 30s suffering from a stab injury. He died at the scene a short while later.

Police are in the process of informing next of kin. Formal identification and a post examination will be held in due course.

Two other men were found in the local area suffering from stab injuries. They were taken to a south London hospital where they remain with non life threatening injuries.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
