The countdown has begun to one of the great star-studded red carpet events of the year when A-list celebrities turn out in support of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s major fundraiser on 11th November held inside the iconic Battersea Evolution.
Hosted by media star Peter Andre and in the presence of the Home’s President TRH Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, the night promises to offer an unforgettable experience of gourmet banqueting and musical entertainment.
Peter will be one of many A-list celebrities amongst the guests for an event that celebrates Battersea’s unparalleled work caring for thousands of lost, abandoned and unwanted animals. The Home’s legendary Guard of honour, made up of dozens of Battersea dogs, will line the red carpet entrance, treating the guests and assembled media to an emotional welcome they will never forget.
The Collars and Coats Gala Ball promises a high octane evening, with a distinguished guest list that boasts the showbiz and entertainment glitterati, influential business leaders, society and public figures, stars from the world of sport and British Royalty. Guests include celebrated British actresses Prunella Scales and Martine McCutcheon, fashionista Brix Smith Start, television presenters Esther Rantzen, Kate Walsh and Jasmine Harman, Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel-Horwood, and celebrity hair-dresser Nicky Clarke. The event’s top-billing performances include an eclectic mix of A-List musical acts which will shortly be unveiled.
The Collars & Coats Gala Ball is Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s most prestigious fundraising event of the year. The much loved animal welfare charity enjoys the support for its vital work from many of the nation’s top celebrities. Previous attendees have included Simon Cowell and Dame Judi Dench, Amanda Holden, Alexandra Burke, and Brian May of Queen.
During the event revellers will also have the opportunity to bid in an exclusive money-can’t-buy auction with an array of luxury, bespoke gifts donated by some of the Home’s supporters. The Ball will raise vital funds to ensure that Battersea’s important work in rescuing and rehoming unwanted and abandoned dogs and cats continues.
