Tie the knot at the Bandstand

Music lovers and couples who'd like a unique and stylish wedding in the gorgeous surroundings of Battersea Park can now tie the knot in the park's historic bandstand.

The ornate bandstand, which stands in the heart of the Grade II listed park and dates back to Victorian time, has now been awarded a licence allowing it to be used as a venue for weddings.



Wandsworth's environment spokesman, Jonathon Cook, said: "This would be a great choice for many couples. The park is a truly romantic place and I'm sure many couple would love to get marrued in such a picturesuqe and delightful setting."
