Allfarthing School Expansion Plans Approved

Wandsworth Planning Committee gives go-ahead to proposals

Bailey Partnership, an integrated practice of architects, building surveyors, engineers and project managers, has got the go-head from Wandsworth Council to build a much-need extension to Allfarthing Primary School.

Based in St Ann's Crescent, off All-Farthing Lane, Allfarthing has a reputation for high academic standards and outstanding music, art and drama. It was judged 'good' in its last Ofsted inspectation.

Wandsworth Council has come under increasing pressure to provide more primary school places in the borough as the population of school age children increases. The number of children expected to need a reception class is expected to rise by fifteen per cent by 2016, and Allfarthing will need to accommodate an additional class from September 2015.
