Less than a fifth of people being treated at the hospital have had two jabs
Over half the Covid-19 admissions at St George’s Hospital are unvaccinated and less than 20% have received the double dose.
The figures for June for the hospital in Tooting show 18 of 34 patients had not received the vaccine.
Six had been fully vaccinated against the virus and 10 had been given one dose, according to data released following a Freedom of Information (FOI) request.
A total of 18 patients had received no coronavirus vaccine.
Over half the population of Wandsworth borough have been fully vaccinated with nearly two thirds having received one dose up to 16 August.
NHS data from 12 August shows 229,330 first doses of the Covid jab have been given to the over 18s in Wandsworth and 178,305 adults have been double jabbed.
In the week ending 11 August, Wandsworth had the third highest infection rate in London with 343 cases per 100,000 of the population, according to London Datastore, managed by the Greater London Authority.
A further 133 people in Wandsworth tested positive for Covid-19 on 16 August, taking the total to 33,485 since the pandemic started in the borough, according government data.
The same figures show there has been one Covid death in Wandsworth in August so far.

A St George’s spokesperson said: “The vast majority of patients requiring hospital care are either unvaccinated or have only received one dose of the vaccine.
“We’d encourage anyone who is eligible to get both doses – this will give you the fullest possible protection against Covid-19, and reduce your risk of getting seriously ill from it or passing it on to others.â€
Previously, an FOI to Kingston Hospital showed four inpatients had been single jabbed and a further four double vaccinated in June with 14 in hospital without a vaccine.
