Wandsworth’s EU Citizens Being Offered Support on Brexit Impact

Three online sessions being run by local Citizens Advice

Advisor Kasia Zagrodniczek

Citizens Advice Wandsworth EU Project is rerunning a series of free e-information sessions which are open to EU citizens living, working or studying in Wandsworth.

They have been commissioned by Wandsworth Council to support local residents to secure their rights in the UK post Brexit. An estimated 26,000 people holding EU passports resided in the borough before the UK left the EU.

European citizens need to act now and apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to ensure they can continue to reside in the UK. The deadline is fast approaching and after 31 December 2020 you may need to show you have settled or pre-settled status to do things like get a job or use the NHS.

You can join one of the Citizens Advice Wandsworth free information sessions on Zoom and learn about how to apply:

Italian: 10 September, from 10am to 11:30am
Romanian: 15 September, from 10am to 11:30am
English: 17 September, from 10am to 11:30am

If you need further information email euadviceservice@cawandsworth.org or call 07761 917510.
