Incident occurred between Putney & Wandsworth Town
A man has died after being hit by a train on Friday morning, according to the London Ambulance Service. The incident happened just after 7.45am when a person was reported under a train. A death was confirmed just before 9.30am.
South West Trains have said:
"Due to a person hit by a train at Putney, all lines in this area are blocked. Delays and short notice alterations can be expected. We are sorry for any disruption to your journey this morning".
Alternative travel:London Buses, London Underground and First Great Western are accepting South West Trains passengers via any reasonable route.
