Police Search For Man With Wandsworth Connections Following Spate Of Burglaries


Michael Covington "should not be approached by members of the public"

Police in Croydon are appealing to local residents to help locate a man wanted in connection with four separate burglaries.

Dennis Michael Covington, 46, of no fixed abode, is wanted for questioning for four separate burglaries on Wickham Road in Croydon on Wednesday 5 July.

He is known to frequent Croydon, Bromley, Sutton, Wandsworth, Surrey and Kent.

On all four occasions, force was used to gain entry to the rear of the premises and property was stolen.

Covington is also sought in connection with two other burglary-related offences in Surrey and Kent.

He is described as a white man, 6ft in height, of slim to medium build with short brown wavy hair, which is thinning on the top.

Covington should not be approached by members of the public.
