Cineworld Wandsworth Experiences

The audiences in the cinema in the shopping centre can be a bit noisy but normally I don't mind too much as the volume is quite high. However, we went to see the King's Speech there recently. The crunching of popcorn and the juvenile snickering were much more audible and seriously detracted from our enjoyment of the film. In future we were thinking of going to another cinema to see any film that was dialogue based - has anybody any suggestions as to which would be the best locally?

I'd actually say the opposite. When I go to Cineworld in Southside it is usually so loud I can't hear myself think.

Hi Carmel, I think it's best to see films in the evenings and especially avoid school holidays at Cineworld. We've also tried HMV cinema in Wimbledon (quite near safeways), shows a lot of independent and world cinema. Far more civilised, nice cafe for after, maybe a bit more dear but worth it.Kalpana
