Vibration?

Odd question but has anyone else in Armoury Way/Frogmore/Sudlow Road area noticed a considerable increase in vibration affecting their property? We used to notice it before when the heavy goods trains went past the end of the road but recently - particularly today - the house seems to be shaking a lot. It only seems to happen during the day and I'm wondering whether it's linked to the excavations for the Thames Tideway project which are quite close to us. 
I'm thinking of reporting it to their Helpline* but would like to know if anyone has noticed it too. If it does come from there is it something that should be flagged up to insurers?

Thanks — I will report it. One of my neighbours who also experienced the vibration was apparently talking to some of the Tideway workers in the Crane pub and they said that at that time, they had hit a very difficult bit of rock in their excavations which probably caused the problem. Since then, I have to say I haven't noticed it but I'll flag it up just in case!

Hi Hugh  Please do report this. This will be fed back at the liaison meeting coming up in November which is chaired by Justine Greening. Tunnelling has begun as previously mentioned but there has also been a significant rise in heavy goods traffic. I understand that some residents of Fulham ( who as you may know were outraged at having the works moved there when Barnes/Putney said no ) had their properties surveyed before work began in anticipation of an increase in traffic.  We are experiencing heavy traffic where I live and inevitably an increase in pollution having lost 21 trees and shrubs.

Tunnelling for the supersewer started a few months ago but it could be that they are just getting to the bit under your house

Haven't noticed anything but I wouldn't contact your insurers until you are sure about the source. If they think the risk of insuring you has risen and there is no third party they could claim from then your premiums would rise.
