Southfields Library

I understand the Council is planning to CLOSE it.Councillor Grimstom is campaigning against this.

According to Councillor Grimston on the Putney community forum the Council has done an about face on this and the library will not close.

Hi Lyn,Do you mean permanently, or just for renovation works? It will indeed be closed from 10th to 27th October to fix a leaky roof.Southfields library is one of the most successful libraries in the borough, with very high lending rates thanks to a great local community. I'm a big fan!If it is to close down, please point me in the direction of the article so I can complain until I'm blue in the face.
